An interlocking slate with a riven textured surface. The Balmoral provides a new concept in roofing that uses the natural properties of clay to give the visual appearance of a natural slate, combined with economic benefits of interlocking tile design.
Sandtoft manufacture the Balmoral from naturally occurring alluvial clay, which ensures the roof weathers in a natural fashion - unlike slate effect products made from fibre cement and concrete.
No on-site holing or sorting is required and a full range of roofing systems are available including dry ridge, dry verge and dry hip clips. These innovative products are available for secure mechanical fixing Balmoral slates and eliminate the need for eaves and tops tiles.
