Description:
K-Rend HP14 Base Coat is a cement based, polymer modified base coat. Normally applied as a backing coat for the K Rend finishes or a trowelled finish for other coatings. K-Rend HP14 only requires the addition of water and 5 minutes mixing time.
K-Rend HP14 Base Coat can be hand or machine applied. It uses “High Polymer” technology for an enhanced performance onto a wide variety of insulating substrates such as enhanced polystyrene, phenolic and mineral wool.
K-Rend HP14 is designed as the ideal background for thin coat organic resin render such as Silicone TC. Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh should be used in conjunction with HP14 Base Coat at stress points such as door and window reveals.
