Description:

Wallbarn Balance pedestals are engineered to counteract unevenness in the underlying deck surface, smoothing out imperfections such as felt overlaps or variations in paving slab thickness to create a level upper surface. Manufactured with a telescopic stem which is twisted by hand to achieve the height required to millimetric precision. With no tools other than your hands when using these pedestals, this saves on time and labour.

The weight of the slabs or decking frame holds the entire system securely in place, eliminating the need for adhesives or fixings to the pedestal. Rainwater drains freely between and beneath the slabs or deck boards, preventing standing water and reducing the risk of slips and hazards. This enhances health and safety, keeping both paved and decked surfaces drier and less slippery. Additionally, the elevated system promotes airflow, helping to prevent moisture build-up and prolonging the lifespan of your system.

• The self-levelling headpiece features four positioning lugs (fins) arranged in a crucifix formation near the edges
• The special Balance Headpiece allows for slope correction of up to 5% (2.86°) in all directions
• A built-in mechanism at the base of the headpiece enables smooth movement and precise positioning of paving slabs
• The lugs (fins) ensure consistent spacing between slabs and tiles, promoting effective drainage
• The headpiece and lugs create a uniform paving line, ensuring slabs are laid perfectly straight
• A rubber anti-shock pad is included with the headpiece which has a series of ridges, enhancing grip while reducing vibration and noise transmission through the pedestal to the deck below

• The lugs (fins) on the headpiece are positioned towards the edges, creating a 55mm gap to house a timber joist
