William Blyth Handmade Clay Plain Tiles are a tribute to time honoured British craftsmanship. These sanded plain tiles are ideal for projects where character, texture, and heritage appeal are paramount whether you’re restoring a period property or designing a home that embraces traditional charm.

For over 180 years, William Blyth has stood at the heart of British roof tile making. Based at The Old Tile Works Barton-upon-Humber, they are the last remaining manufacturer in the UK still making clay roof tiles the traditional way, by hand, with skill, using thier own alluvial clay reserves from the banks of the Humber.

William Blyth heritage clay roof tiles are more than just building materials, they are living pieces of British craft, made for restorers, conservation professionals, and homeowners who understand the value of authenticity and time-tested performance.
