Description:

VELUX have teamed up with the smart home technology company Netatmo to create the New VELUX ACTIVE indoor climate system. Smart sensors continuously monitor the temperature, humidity and CO2 levels in your home and open or close your VELUX INTEGRA® electric roof windows, blinds and shutters to create a healthier indoor climate.

The VELUX KIX 300 Active package can be used with all new Velux INTEGRA® pitched and flat roof windows. If you have an existing VELUX INTEGRA® window, please use the following link to see if your model is compatible: 

The new Velux Active system uses a series of clever built-in algorithms to adjust your windows automatically to ensure you enjoy a healthier, fresher indoor environment. These algorithms can be easily overriden to allow you to customise the settings according to your own needs. 

For the ultimate in convenience, the VELUX ACTIVE app can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store, enabling you to operate your VELUX INTEGRA windows from any room in your home or anywhere in the world. If that was not simple enough, Apple customers can operate their new kit with voice activation as VELUX ACTIVE is compatible with Apple Homekit.

If you already own VELUX INTEGRA products, putting this upgrade in place is simple as ACTIVE comes with everything you need to install the system yourself.

Key Features:

  • Sensor-based ventilation: Smart sensors continuously monitor temperature, humidity and CO2 levels and open or close your roof windows accordingly.

  • Stay in control: Use the VELUX ACTIVE app to operate your VELUX INTEGRA® electric roof windows, blinds and shutters from anywhere using your smartphone.

  • Easy installation: VELUX ACTIVE indoor climate control can be installed  without any professional help.

Velux Active Includes the following: 
  • VELUX ACTIVE Indoor Climate Sensor
    • Measures temperature and air quality (humidity and CO2 levels)
    • Information sent to VELUX ACTIVE gateway
    • Can operate one group of VELUX INTEGRA products simultaneously
  • VELUX ACTIVE Departure Switch
    • Securely closes all INTEGRA windows in your home
    • Secures the windows in a 'safe mode'
    • Automatic opening of windows is limited to background ventilation only
    • Same function available from app
  • VELUX ACTIVE Gateway
    • Wireless communication between the products
    • Smart controls monitor indoor climate providing feedback for automatic operations

Extra components can be purchased separately if you have more than one room with VELUX INETGRA windows installed, or would like a departure switch for each exit door.
