Silverseel GRP Roofing Base Resin 20kg is a premium-quality, fire-retardant polyester resin specifically developed for fibreglass flat roofing applications. Designed to create a seamless, fully bonded waterproof membrane, this high-performance base resin delivers exceptional durability and long-lasting protection for flat roofs, balconies, walkways, and other weather-exposed areas.
Each 20kg tin is supplied complete with 500g of catalyst, ensuring you have everything required to begin your GRP roofing installation. The resin can be used on flat roofs of any size or configuration and is easy to apply without the need for expensive specialist tools.
When used in conjunction with Silverseel GRP Topcoat, the system has been extensively tested and achieves fire-retardant performance to BS476 Part 3 and BRoof (t4) standards, meeting UK building control requirements for flat roofing applications.
Once cured, the monolithic fibreglass membrane is highly resistant to UV exposure, heat, weathering, and foot traffic, providing a robust, low-maintenance roofing solution backed by a 20-year material guarantee.
