Reduce Surface Noise on your decking or Patio. Wallbarn rubber crumb pads to sit between the sub-deck and the baseplates of pedestals for protection and acoustic insulation.
5mm thick and measuring 200 x 200mm, the permeable pad is loose laid onto the deck surface beneath to protect it from compression and point loading from the paving or decking system and associated pedestrian traffic.
Wallbarn's 5mm Rubber Crumb Acoustic Pad is designed to provide acoustic insulation against vibrations generated by walking and human activities on raised floors. These vibrations can be transmitted to the underlying floor through our supports. To counter this, the acoustic pad is placed between the pedestal base and its support surface.
The acoustic pad is an ecological membrane that effectively mitigates impact sound noises. It is crafted from a 750 kg/m3 density mat comprising natural and synthetic elastomeric compounds, some of which are sourced from the recycling of ELT (end of life tyres). These components are securely bound using masspolymerized polyurethanes, ensuring a durable and environmentally conscious solution for acoustic insulation.
