The NEW Korniche Roof Lantern has been optimised to create the strongest and stiffest roof lantern possible with minimal structure to obscure your view and let light flood in to your home. Unparalleled in strength, the Korniche can survive whatever nature throws at it. The NEW Korniche roof lantern has been designed with improved thermal performance as a top priority. A high-strength polymer core of insulation runs throughout the entire structure, providing a true thermal break that keeps the cold external parts separate from the warm internal ones. High-performance argon-filled glass units with engineered coatings offer the latest insulation technology, minimising heat transfer while allowing light in, blocking UV rays, and reflecting the sun’s heat. Fully thermally isolated fasteners complete the comprehensive insulation.

Our changing environment makes it harder for homes to keep out wind and rain, and the NEW Korniche lantern represents a step up in sealing and jointing technologies. Installation begins with our advanced pre-tensioning system, designed to eliminate gaps in the finished structure. Once fully tightened and screwed down, sealant – only needed for the base seal – is injected into a dedicated groove and into ports at the corners, where ducts deliver the precise amount exactly where it’s required. Custom seals made from TPE, either finned or with closed-cell foam, completely encase the glass unit.
