The Sandtoft Wienerberger TLE® Roof Tile. A large format tile with a thin leading edge by Sandtoft. The TLE® tile allows the creation of a thin leading edge appearance with all the benefits of a concrete interlocking tile.
The Sandtoft TLE® is one of the thinnest leading edge concrete tiles on the market today and can be laid on roof pitches as low as 17.5°. This cutting edge design gives it a beautiful slate like appearance.
Sandtoft announced the launch of this new and exciting tile range as a perfect solution for architects to add real beauty and interest to projects. The new design can beused with a range of Sandtofts tiling systems and represents a serious challenge to the perception of concrete roofing products as heavy and ugly products. The TLE® delivers the thinnest and lightest concrete tile available for use on a wide range of roof designs.
Sandtoft TLE® tiles will be part of a full installation system that includes the membrane underneath the tiles, the dry fix mechanical solutions, ventilation and the ridge and hip fittings. The tiles are half the thickness of some alternative concrete tiles, while their lightweight nature has been designed to contribute to super-easy installation – all without any compromise on aesthetic appearance.
