The Knauf Soundshield Plus offers high performance in Sound reduction, as well as offering high levels of fire resistance.
Knauf Soundshield Plus is a high mass, tuned core plasterboard with a blue face. The board is suitable for use as a cladding component in partitions and lining systems, offers enhanced acoustic performance, excellent fire resistance and severe duty rating for use where sound reduction is of particular importance.
Use Knauf Soundshield Plus with Performance Plus Screws and in conjunction with Knauf jointing compounds, plasters, plasterboard adhesive and metal systems to receive the Knauf Systems Warranty.
Sound Resistant plasterboard is suitable for dry lining internal surfaces and also for where increased acoustic performance is required. This acoustic plaster board is easy to install and ideal for soundproofing ceiling or walls. It effectively absorbs sound energy improving acoustic performance in or outside rooms. Mechanical or adhesive fixings can be used when installing this product.
