Description:
The Brewer Birdguard Metal Chimney Cowl for Gas fires has been designed to prevent birds and debris from entering your chimney. It achieves this with the use of a wired mesh designed to prevent unwanted entry into your system whilst also allowing smoke and fumes to be exhausted efficiently.
Fitted with an integral rain hat, it has the added advantage of minimising rain entry helping to prevent internal structural decay.
A Round Gas Birdguard will fit onto a standard round chimney pot with an internal diameter between 150mm to 250mm (6” to 10”).
For use with either disused (redundant) or live gas systems, the Round Gas Birdguard can be a great option. If you have a problem with large birds or squirrels trying to make a home in your chimney then the Round Gas Birdguard is an excellent defence. The design includes a raincap that helps to prevent all but the most sideways of rainfall. A Solid Fuel Birdguard is also available for use with solid fuel (wood, coal, and oil) systems.
