Cladco Plastic Joists are manufactured from 100% recycled plastics, using state of the art technology. Post-consumer plastic is shredded down, melted and formed into moulds, creating high-quality and durable Joists.
Plastic Joists are an innovative and versatile alternative to timber joists and can support your Decking project for many years to come, without the need for annual maintenance. Unlike wood, plastic lumber does not require regular treating or maintaining, and should not splinter or rot. The lack of maintenance helps to reduce future costs for your Decking project.
Recycled Plastic Joists are easy to install and can be cut to size using traditional wood-working tools, so no matter your Decking design, these Joists should be able to fit perfectly.
Cladco Plastic Joists require support every 1m for the structure of the joist itself. When installing Composite Decking onto Plastic Joists, we advise 400mm centres. For using Plastic Joists with PVC Decking Boards, we advise 300mm centres.
