Wakaflex is a high quality, extremely flexible and robust flashing for pitched roof abutments and an alternative to traditional lead applications.
Wakaflex is a non toxic flexible, self-adhesive flashing designed to replace lead in most modern roofing applications.This flashing alternative can be stretched over details whilst dressing to give a smoother and neater finish. Wakaflex extends up to 50% in length and 15% in width when dressing the Wakaflex onto the bigger profile tiles on the roof.
Wakaflex is Suitable for use in a variety of applications such as Stepped flashing, Abutment flashing, valley gutters, cover flashings, step flashings, rooflight flashings, conservatory flashings & cavity tray in masonry walls and is suitable for use on sharp corners.
- Smooth surface with high stretchability of up to 50% in length and 15% in width, making it extremely versatile with a neat finish.
- BBA approved, UV resistant, 4-layer flashing with an integrated aluminium layer, making it very robust and durable.
- Self welding technology, means no specialist tools or training is needed, making it a cost-effective solution.
