Description:
Manufactured from high-streangth stainless steel. Only the 316 grade can be guaranteed in industrial areas or severe coastal exposure (front of sea).
The coating is purely decorative and does not influence the resistance to corrosion of the material.
Hooks are often used when making small repairs or replacing individual slates on the roof.
Typically, slate hooks attach to the batten by a spike at the upper end, which is driven into the batten or a hook that wraps around the batten. Made from 316 marine grade stainless steel coated in black.
Please note: The length of hooks required equals lap + 2-3mm. Having determined exposure to prevailing weather conditions and taking into account adverse local effects, use the info below to establish head lap:
