Description:
TRC EPDM contact adhesive is a high-performance, solvent based contact adhesive for bonding a variety of EPDM membranes to wood, masonry and other approved substrates, as well as certain insulations.
TRC contact adhesive is used to bond perimeter areas of smaller roof projects in conjunction with, contact adhesive for the main roof exposure, but is also used for totally bonding of membranes for projects over 100m².
Due to the properties and composition of EPDM, it is a particularly tough material to bond to due to it's low surface energy and chemical composition. TRC EPDM Contact Adhesive is our solution to this, providing an outstanding bond.
TRC Contact Adhesive exhibits high adhesive and cohesive strength and exceptional flexibility and hot strength making it the perfect adhesive for EPDM roofing membranes. The reduced levels of solvent within the formulation quickly evaporate allowing for fast and permanent bonding on horizontal or vertical applications.
