The VELUX Solar Integrator is a specially designed flashing that perfectly connects VELUX roof windows to a variety of solar panel build-in systems. Our solution ensures that your roof window will fit perfectly into the PV grid because of an easy, fast, safe and seamless integration.
The VELUX ODL Solar Integrator Flashing is a specialist flashing kit designed to integrate a single VELUX roof window into roofs fitted with in-roof (BIPV) solar panels. Engineered to sit flush within the photovoltaic array, it allows the roof window to align precisely with surrounding PV modules while maintaining the weatherproofing and structural integrity of the roof. The low-profile black aluminium design complements modern solar roof aesthetics and ensures a neat, cohesive finish.
Developed specifically for solar roofs, the ODL flashing avoids shading or covering active photovoltaic areas, helping preserve full solar output. Adjustable side sections provide up to 25 mm of lateral tolerance, enabling installers to accurately align the window within the solar panel grid even where module spacing varies slightly. The system is suitable for pitched roofs typically between 15° and 90°, making it compatible with most residential and light-commercial solar roof configurations.
For reliable performance and energy efficiency, the ODL is supplied as a complete installation package including the VELUX BFX underfelt collar for watertight sealing and the BDX insulation collar to reduce heat loss and condensation risk around the roof window frame.
