OWL Waterproofing’s LAVA 20 Polyurethane Waterproofing Forever Topcoat. Protect and improve the performance of your roof with Lava 20 Top Coat, a premium, polyurethane-based waterproof finish. Designed for use over the primary Lava 20 Waterproofing Membrane, this advanced, clear, and flexible top coat maintains long-term stability as it ages. It is UV-resistant, non-yellowing, and highly durable against weathering, alkalis, and chemicals.
Lava 20 Clear Top Coat is mainly used as a protective layer over the Lava 20 membrane. It also delivers strong waterproofing and protection for natural surfaces, guarding against acid rain, mist, frost, and water ingress. When applied to aged or oxidised plastic surfaces, it restores clarity, while also providing effective waterproofing for damaged glass.
Featuring a unique moisture-triggered curing system, Lava 20 sets itself apart from traditional moisture-cured products that often bubble. Because it does not react with moisture, it forms a smooth, bubble-free, and breathable membrane.
- Easy to use (roller or airless spray)
- Improves the waterproofing membrane's resilience to stress and corrosion
- Offers high solar reflectivity (white), which helps with thermoinsulation
- Colour and UV resistance
- Produces a glossy, cleanable surface
- Does not exhibit the aromatic polyurethane coatings' grainy effect
