Designed for everyday residential projects, extensions, renovations and moderately insulated buildings, the VELUX Standard Glass Rooflight offers an attractive upgrade from traditional polycarbonate dome rooflights. Its durable flat glass exterior gives the roof a much cleaner, more modern appearance while providing improved thermal insulation, sound reduction and indoor comfort.

The electrically operated CVP base allows you to introduce fresh air into the room at the touch of a button. A pre-paired VELUX wall switch is supplied, making operation simple from the moment the rooflight is installed. For additional peace of mind, the rooflight features an integrated rain sensor, which automatically closes the window when rain is detected – allowing you to ventilate your home without constantly monitoring the weather.

The electric rooflight can also be combined with VELUX App Control or VELUX ACTIVE, giving you the option of smart ventilation, scheduling and automated indoor climate control.
